Episode 37 tonight

April 10, 2008

We’ll be recording a special episode of Uncontrolled Vocabulary Thursday night at 10 PM EDT. This episode will be devoted exclusively to discussion of the Computers in Libraries conference, which just wrapped up in D.C.

I invite anyone who was there to join in the conversation, as well as anyone who might have questions for the attendees. Many of the regular participants were in attendance, many of whom had the privilege of meeting for the first time. I expect a lively conversation as we touch upon some of the highlights (and not-so-highlights) from this generally excellent conference.

We’ll resume with normal news-based discussion next week, after I’ve had a chance to recover from the conference and get back into the usual news-scouring behaviors that make such a show possible.

  1. Awww…to see this after I finally get an account on Del.Icio.Us and flag some stories for ya. 🙂 Oh well. If all goes well I won’t be in-country when this goes to air on TalkShoe. If not, see ya Thursday night.

  2. Whew. So I don’t have to fill guilty about not calling in tonight – as a non-attendee, I wouldn’t have much to contribute to the conversation.

But I am using Unvocab as a podcast example in a staff presentation tomorrow. w00t!
